FLOURISHING IN THE SECOND HALF OF LIFE

As a creative person, my mind is always buzzing — songs, stories, ideas. But along with that came a lot of worry. About money, work… everything. I’ve basically done a PhD in overthinking.

In 2017, I attended a 10-day silent Vipassana retreat. It was intense — but eye-opening. I began to understand how my mind works, and more importantly, how not to get caught up in its constant chatter.

Mindfulness isn’t about stopping thoughts. It’s about noticing them, letting them pass, and staying grounded through whatever emotions arise.

It helped me so much, I became a certified mindfulness facilitator. Now, I help others build the same skills — to live with more ease, focus, and resilience.
